THE NADLER SOHO HOTEL,

SOHO

Turning around the corner of Dean Street, you are met by a large statue over the entrance of the Nadler Hotel and the hotels very friendly staff, welcoming you back at the end of a long day in London, or just a shopping-bag drop-off before going around the corner again to shop some more.

The location in Soho of this 78 room small boutique hotel is fantastic. From the hotel, it is only footsteps away from Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Piccadilly, Regent Street, Bond Street, and only 100 meters from Oxford Street. What used to be an area with a bad reputation, has now become a mecca of restaurants, cafés, shops and theatres. The West End world of theatre and musicals are only a few minutes walk from the hotel.

The Nadler Hotel is in its own words an affordable luxury, boutique hotel. Surrounded by bars and restaurants, the hotel has chosen not to have its own restaurant, and rather act as local ambassadors with their tips. Nadler has arrangements with several out of house cafe and take-away places in the area. Try breakfast at the Dean Street Townhouse or Soho Hotel just around the corner. But then everything is truly just around the corner.

The style is minimalistic and stylish. In the reception area there is a large glass screen showing black and white movies. The reasonable sized room have the minimalistic dark furnishing and white walls, but softened up by a large fake fur bed cover. Each room has a mini kitchenette with coffee machine and refrigerator, and its own wifi network with the best TV /iPad solution we have ever experienced. You can control the large LED TV set with your iPad and have access to more than 7000 songs and 3000 free newspapers from more than 25 countries. You can stream content from your own iPad directly to the TV or choose from a waste number of internet radio stations.

The hotel is great with the younger generations, and even have branded yellow rubber ducks for the small guest. Some rooms allow for up to four people. Choose a room to the left of the reception, and you will get a room so quiet of which I have never before experienced in the heart of London.
