The perfect place for shopping...and car spotting. Starting at Sloan Square, the Kings Road winds its way towards the Thames. Dating back to the 60´s with Twiggy, Kings road has been The place to see or be seen. Here you will find small clothes shops, shoe shops, accessories shops, design shops etc. alongside the major high street brand stores. Further down, the focus moves to interior design and antiques. But Gentlemen, don´t worry if the shopping sounds boring. Just keep your eyes on the road, and all the best looking cars of the world will pass by. If it's a sunny day, its cabriolet time. King´s road has always been famous for its "car scene". You will also pass cute cafés and small restaurants. Perfect for a time out !
At the beginning of Kings road, a side street will take you to Duke of York Square. Here are even more shops, cafés and lunch restaurants (Polpo, Manicomio). Shops include Zara and Zara Home, Banana Republic, Joseph, and the famous Taschen book store. A true gem is the Saatchi Gallery with Mess cafe and restaurant.
