HAM YARD HOTEL
SOHO

The Ham Yard Hotel is at the top of our design Hotel list. Beating minimalist hotels such as St Martins Lane and Sanderson, all the warm colours and fantastic lighting scheme makes it to the top of the list.

And then it is the location. Only one minute walk from Regent Street and Mayfair, a stone throw from Piccadilly an IN Soho with all the restaurants, it canˋt be any better.

In front of the hotel is the Ham Yard Village, a large courtyard with trees, concrete benches and sculptures. In the evening the trees sparkles like a starfield with all the small LED lights. In the Ham Yard village you will also find a Japanese Teppanyaki restaurant, a flowerist, a couple of small designer shops, a small tea store, an eyewear store and more.

Like its sister hotel, the Soho Hotel, Ham Yard Hotel has large, black industrial, latticed floor to ceiling windows.

The Hotel entrance has light flooring and the same floor to ceiling glass panels, letting light into the open reception, bar and restaurant area. An amazing mix of white walls, red walls, colourful beautiful golden tapestry and furniture create the wonderful warm welcoming feeling.

Past the reception lies a conservatory with a glass ceiling and the same colourful interior. A perfect and naturally place for serving afternoon tea. The hotel is rather large for a boutique hotel, but with the creative design of Kit Kemp, you would never guess this. Here are 91 bedrooms and suites, and several apartment for long term hire. Attached to the hotel are several town houses with private entrances and four floors for hire.

All the hotel rooms have floor to ceiling windows, overlooking the courtyard or across the London skyline. Varying in size, the rooms are all carefully decorated with colourful and imaginative furnishing and decor. Rooms may have stripes and floral patterns, or just two shade of a colours like grey and white. Here are so many fun and creative ideas, some you can maybe try at home. You can call this a very feminine hotel, but the guys will love the relaxed and crazy world created - and use the bowling alley, cinema or roof terrace.
