EMIRATES AIR LINE, LONDON

The Emirates Air Line opened just before the Olympics, in June 2012. It connects Royal Docks and Greenwich Peninsula - the home of the O2 Arena. You are brought to a altitude of 90 m above River Thames before you decends back to one of the dockings. The AirLine can carry up to 2500 persons per hour. Even if it's a bit far from Central London, this is a nice excursion with kids. Use the underground or a taxi and buy a roundtrip withe the AirLine. Combine it with a visit to the O2 arena which is packed with restaurants and different "branded experiences".
