COVENT GARDEN, LONDON

Normally Covent Garden refers to the Market, the street artists and the crowds. But it is also the name of the district reaching from the Strand and up to Centre Point. It's home to the Royal Opera House and the Disney Store, more than 1000 restaurants and bars, historic theatres and shops. Now even Dior, Chanel and Burberry has moved into the market facilities. If you want to explore the area, leave the market, pass the tube station and enter Neal Street. This is the gateway to the narrow streets with small specialist shops, galleries, restaurants and bars. Follow the labyrinth to 7 Dials and have a rest at the monument in the centre of the seven streets which all starts from this point. Close by is Neals Yard, a small open space with some cozy cafes.
