RUNGSTEDLUND

Rungstedlund was the home of famous Danish author Karen Blixen after she went “Out of Africa” and back home to Denmark. The grand villa is today a museum where you can explore how she lived and the many wonderful tails she wrote when she came back to Denmark. Inside information tells us that the only reason the curtains flow over the floor, is that she didn’t bother to fit them (a family secret...). Still this is promoted in several magazines as the Karen Blixen style. You can also visit the beautiful garden behind the mansion where Karen Blixen rests.
